The A.E.S. symbol of the Six-pointed Star, with the cross within the circle at its center, was first conveyed to Jenny Carroll by the Masters in the autumn of 1988, through both telepathic instruction and inner vision. It was designated then as the Brotherhood symbol to be used ever after in association with the work they would accomplish through her dedicated cooperation. The work, for which they gave the name of Aquarius, has taken many forms during the past twenty years.

The ancient symbol of the Six-Pointed Star is used by the Brotherhood in all its Lodges throughout the world. From the dimmest mists of antiquity, this Star has shone as the most sacred of all symbols representing the Christ.

It is the Christ Star.

This Star is formed by two interlaced triangles. The downward-pointing triangle symbolizes the Holy Trinity and God’s Divine Light descending to mankind. The upward-pointing triangle symbolizes mankind’s spiritual aspiration, desiring Oneness with God as Christed Beings - Sons and Daughters of God, Home at last after the long journey from hu-man to God-man.

The cross that is of equal length and breadth, one of the oldest symbols known on Earth, is also represented in every Brotherhood Lodge as homage to the great Grand Master, Christ.
When this cross is held within a circle, it represents man’s soul expanded, illumined and encompassed at the heart center by the Christ Light. It is thus the symbol of perfected mankind as Christed Beings, the Divine Destiny of each of us.

However, the star, the cross and the circle are sacred symbols so ancient and occultly profound that they each, singularly or combined, symbolize many spiritually significant Truths. It is by passing through various levels of spiritual attainment that these Truths become revealed within the self. Thus we are capable of discerning such mysteries only while becoming the living embodiment of them. Symbols of spiritual sovereignty are then etched eternally upon our very souls.
