The Great Invocation is a world prayer now translated into over fifty languages. It was conceived and revealed by the Tibetan Master, D.K. (Djwhal Khul) prior to 1945. Received in English to the Master’s amanuensis, Alice A. Bailey (Arcane School), it has since been repeated daily by millions of souls throughout the world.
It is a prayer of tremendous mantric power. Therefore, the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet asks all of humanity to serve the Plan of Light by daily recitation of The Great Invocation.

Serving the Plan of Light - an overview
Blessed Ones, this is the bright new dawn wherein we may now share with you sacred teachings once given only to initiates in secret chambers during ages past. It is during this wondrous New Era that even the most mystical of ancient Truth Teachings will be revealed to all souls sincerely seeking greater spiritual understanding.
Ancient Wisdom Teachings are eternal, therefore, never new. However, Universal Law requires these spiritual truths to be presented anew at the dawn of every new Astrological Age, according to the language of the day and mankind’s current level of consciousness.
At this momentous time on Earth, it is not due merely to the greater populace having achieved significant spiritual awareness that there is now such a proliferation of esoteric teachings publicly available. For the first time since Atlantis, great numbers of highly- evolved souls have incarnated among the children of Earth specifically to aid in raising the mass-consciousness. They are here in service to The Plan of Light. They are the forerunners, the vanguard of an enlightened race of mankind.
As they awakened to their soul’s purpose and the inner knowingness of their inherent divinity, they began searching for knowledge of sacred truths known to their hearts. They would learn and practice again, in this new incarnation, disciplines of the Ancient Wisdom Teachings by which all higher faculties of the soul became known. It is these souls and those fortunate enough to have received their teachings, who are slowly becoming recognized as the teachers and healers of this New Age of Enlightenment.
Evolution demands ever-increasing levels of spiritual awareness to be attained by mankind within specific cycles of time. These Cosmic Cycles were set into motion in the dim mists of antiquity, long before the Motherland of Mu was inhabited. Time after time, during Age after Age, the majority of humankind has failed to attain the soul-growth necessary for keeping pace with the higher frequencies of Lightwave energies automatically accompanying each Age change. Just as mankind’s consciousness is expected to rise as the result of newly relayed Wisdom Teachings, so too, does the Earth evolve by the incoming Light energies enveloping it during every planetary Age change.
The Earth has, of course, continued its evolutionary path toward greater Light according to Divine Plan; while mankind sadly, due to free-will, has not. Even so, until now, during this new Cosmic time cycle, and dawning Age of Aquarius, such spiritually lagging souls (as well as laggards from other planets) were allowed to continue incarnating on Earth while it remained a planet of third-dimensional frequencies. Thus it is that there have been millions of souls on Earth of varying degrees of low spiritual awareness for many thousands of years.
Unfortunately, even now, the majority of these souls have not yet begun to seek greater understanding of themselves or the greater meaning of life. Alas, the children of Earth remain as spiritually lethargic as ever. Who, then, are you, the seekers Truth, the early-risers, the Awakening Ones? You, dear students, are among the Children of Light who have returned to Earth specifically to serve The Plan of Light during this time of great evolutionary change. It is to this divine purpose that you are now Awakening.
It is to this purpose also that Aquarius Esoteric Studies website was established to relay teachings you are now in need of --- teachings, which if diligently applied, lead to alignment with the Soul-Self. Only through such complete alignment does the wisdom and sense perceptions of the soul become known, preparing one to serve along side the many Enlightened Ones now living among us.
You see, dear ones, we are all here now. Brotherhood members of all degrees are here. Planetary Beings from other solar systems are here. Children of Light in the many thousands are here; here now, embodied on this small planet Earth. Why? Why now? Because, dear seekers, this incoming Age of Aquarius marks the end of one major Cosmic Cycle, and begins another of much higher Lightwave frequencies. Earth, and all life on it, is entering the Fourth Dimension of time and space; bringing an end to mankind’s spiritual ignorance for all time, for all Ages ever after.
This is the wondrous Age long-awaited by the Spiritual Hierarchy as the time when all souls on Earth are to be given one last opportunity to learn of the one great Reality—that all life on Earth is but an expression of God. However deeply buried and dimly perceived one’s Divine Spark may be, it is the life essence within us all. There is just the One, expressing as the many.
Truly the Divine Plan for this Age is most beautiful and perfect. Every individual who will choose to Awaken to Reality, willingly working to overcome the ego of the lesser self, will find New Life as the Soul-Self; ultimately a God-Realized Being of Christ-Consciousness.
The Creator’s compassionate plan extends to all souls equally. Thus, souls, whose consciousness has not yet evolved to the degree now required, will continue to incarnate on other third-dimensional planets until greater spiritual awareness is attained.
And now, dear students, you are aware of the reason we are all here at this time in great numbers. Together, as a whole, from Avatar to Awakening aspirant, we have come to help, to assist all souls in attaining the spiritually-based, fourth-dimensional consciousness necessary for human existence during this Aquarian Age and beyond. We are the teachers, the healers, the counselors, comforters, and friends of all humanity. We have done it all before, at the dawn of other Ages. We are the Elder Brothers and Sisters who come always to advance the soul-growth of our younger brethren, though never before as so many at any one time.
We come now as a multitude in the many physical forms necessary to restore an ailing planet and Awaken a still slumbering humanity. We all have a great work ahead of us. We have come at a time when the Earth is in tremendous travail. The planet is sick and dying, and all of humanity is unknowingly sick of mind and hard of heart, unaware of its inherent divinity. Again the wise student may ask, “Why now? Why did we not come sooner in great numbers to show the way?” It was for good reason. The children of Earth had been given, by Divine Decree, an entire Cosmic Cycle of 26,000 years in which to evolve to a degree of consciousness wherein of their own free-will, knowledge of the Creator was sought.
While even now it may seem as if the majority of mankind has no such spiritual interest, deep within the hearts of all souls there is a bewildering loneliness, a longing to know from whence we came and of what awaits us at journey’s end. There are a great many souls now seeking answers not available within exoteric teachings. It is to these precious ones that we may be examples of The Way.
Blessed ones, as we go forth to serve during the glorious Aquarian Age, it is wise to remember that we too once slumbered, hardly stirring, as Ages passed. We too evolved slowly, painfully, in the dark despair of unknowingness until at last the Light shone more brightly, illumining The Path to conscious awareness of the God within.
Therefore, though humanity’s soul-growth must be greatly hastened, let us in our roles, as examples of The Way, serve always with the same understanding, compassion and love that was granted us in Ages past.
